About Calvary
We are a Baptist church centered on Scripture, the gospel, and faithful Christian living
Calvary Baptist Church is biblical in doctrine and worldview, conservative in our attitude, traditional in our worship, and Christlike in our manner.
01
Self-Governing
Calvary Baptist Church is completely self-governing and free from the control of any denominational headquarters.
02
Biblical in Doctrine
We believe in the inspiration of the Bible, the deity and virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His blood atonement, bodily resurrection, and imminent return.
03
Bible-Centered
The Word of God is God-breathed, completely true and trustworthy, and the foundation for what we preach, teach, believe, love, and obey.
Missions Minded
Taking the gospel beyond our walls
The command of the Lord Jesus Christ to the church is to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mankind is lost in sin and must hear the gospel message so that they can decide to place their faith and trust in the finished work of Christ on Calvary for the forgiveness of their sins.
It is our duty and privilege to send forth missionaries to the regions beyond.
Our identity
What shapes Calvary
These commitments shape how Calvary worships, serves, teaches, and reaches people with the gospel.
Biblical
The Bible is our final authority for faith and practice.
Locally Governed
Our church is locally governed and accountable to Christ.
Gospel-focused
We exist to proclaim salvation through Jesus Christ.
Missions-minded
We support the work of carrying the gospel to the regions beyond.
